Q. What time does the Race start?

Q. Why isn't the Race held at the Gateway this year?
A. The Race is now held at LIBRARY SQUARE in order to provide ample access and space.

Q. Where can I park?
A. While there are options like street parking and pay lots downtown, we encourage you to carpool or use TRAX. There are two stations close to Library Square: the Courthouse Station on Main Street and the Library Station on 400 South. From the north, you may take Frontrunner and transfer to Trax. There will be an early Frontrunner train on the morning of the Race that will enable you to reach Library Square on time. more info
Q. Will there be disabled parking available?

Q. Are strollers, bikes, and/or pets allowed on the Race course?
A. We welcome strollers on the course. However, due to crowd conditions, bikes and pets are not permitted.
Q. Can I use the Komen logo on my team t-shirt?
A. The Komen Official Team Insignia are available for your team t-shirt design. Request print-quality files from race@komenslc.org.
NOTE: The affiliate's logo, the national logo, and the running ribbon are NOT permitted to use on team t-shirts.
Q. I'm trying to register my friend/family member but the website won't let me.
A. We strongly prefer that each participant register seperately in order to secure consent to our Race waiver. Exception: parents may register their minor children. If you need to register your minor children, call our office at 801-733-4815 and we will assist you.
The online registration process does give the option of adding additional participants, but only before any payments are made. If a payment transaction has already been completed, you will need to begin the registration process again using a different email address for the other participants. Again, we urge each adult race participant to register themselves for safety purposes.
Q: I registered as an individual and want to be on a team.
A: Call our office at 801-733-4815 or email us at info@komenslc.org. One of our staff members will be able to help you.

Q: When’s the last day to mail-in my registration information?
A: The deadline for mail-in registration has passed. Individuals can register online before midnight on May 11 or in person on Race day.
Q: When and where do I get my t-shirt?
A: If you registered by mail before April 27th or online by May 6, you should have received your t-shirt in the mail. Otherwise, you can pick up your t-shirt at Library Square on the day before the Race between 11am – 7pm, or at registration on Race day.
Q: How do I change my t-shirt size?
A: Bring your T-shirt to our office in Sandy or with you on Race day and we will try to exchange it for you.
Q: Where does the money go?
A: 75% of the net funds raised by the Komen Salt Lake City Race for the Cure remain in our community to support local grants for breast cancer screening, treatment and awareness programs. The remaining 25% is sent to Komen headquarters in Dallas to help fund the Susan G. Komen for the Cure research grants program.
Q: I want to sign up a friend but she doesn’t have a computer.
A: Download a race entry form (each participant needs a separate form). Bring this completed form to the registration area on Race day.
Q: What do I do if I don’t have an e-mail address?

Q: What do I do if I can’t find my team’s name?
A: Try spelling only part of the team’s name in the search box. If you spell the full name and one letter is incorrect it won’t show up in the search engine. If you still can’t find your team call our office at 801-733-4815 and talk to a staff member.
Q: I can’t find my participant page.
A: Go to www.komenslc.org and in the top right corner click “Login,” put in your correct username and password and you will be able to access your participant center.
Q: I forgot my username and password.
A: E-mail your first name, last name and e-mail address to info@komenslc.org and we will respond with your username and e-mail. Or call 801-733-4815.
