What is the cost to register for the Race?
$20 for youth (ages 4-18)
$30 for Breast Cancer Survivors and seniors (65+)
$35 for adults (ages 19-64)
$35 to "Sleep in for the Cure"
$45 on Race day for all participants
Is my registration fee tax-deductible? Because your registration fee includes participation in the Race and a t-shirt, it is not considered tax-deductible. However, any amount that you choose to donate above the entry fee is tax-deductible.
How do I form a team? Follow the prompts when you register for the Race. For more information email firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 801-733-4815.

What do I do if I don’t have an e-mail address? Download a race entry form (each participant needs a separate form) and mail to the affiliate address below. Entries must be postmarked by Thursday, May 1st.

What do I do if I can’t find my team’s name? Try spelling only part of the team’s name in the search box. If you spell the full name and one letter is incorrect it won’t show up in the search engine. If you still can’t find your team, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 801-733-4815.
Can I register my friend/family member? Each participant MUST register separately in order to secure consent to our Race waiver. Exception: parents may register their minor children. If you need to register your minor children, call our office at 801-733-4815 and we will assist you.
I already registered as an individual. How can I join or form a team? Forward your registration confirmation email and the name of the team to email@example.com, or call our office at 801-733-4815.
When’s the last day to mail in my registration information? Your entry form with payment must be postmarked by Thursday, May 1st. Individuals can register online before midnight on Friday, May 9th or in person on Race day.
RACE BIBS AND T-SHIRTS
When and where do I get my official Race bib and t-shirt?
Why hasn't my T-shirt arrived? (everybody else has theirs and we registered at the same time). In order to save costs, we are mailing the t-shirts in bulk, according to weight. So different sizes are shipping on different days. If you still haven't received it after several days from the others, please call us. 801-733-4815
How do I change my T-shirt size? Bring your T-shirt with you to Library Square on pre-Race day (Friday May 9th) or Race day (Saturday May 10th) and we will try to exchange it for you. (Subject to availability)
Can I use the Komen logo on my team t-shirt? The Komen Official Team Insignia are available for your team t-shirt design. Request print-quality files from firstname.lastname@example.org.
NOTE: The affiliate's logo, the national logo, and the running ribbon are NOT allowed on team t-shirts.
Where does the money go? 75% of the net funds raised by the Komen Utah Race for the Cure remain in our community to support local grants for breast cancer screening, treatment and awareness programs. The remaining 25% helps fund groundbreaking breast cancer research, including several major grants underway at Huntsman Cancer Institute.

Is there a deadline for fundraising? We gladly accept donations year-round, however to be included in individual or team totals to qualify for top fundraising prizes, checks must be postmarked by Wednesday May 28th and online donations must be received by midnight on Sunday June 1st.

Where can I park? While there are options like street parking and pay lots downtown, we encourage you to carpool or use TRAX. There are two stations close to Library Square: the Courthouse Station on Main Street and the Library Station on 400 South. From the north, you may take Frontrunner and transfer to Trax. Stay tuned for information about an early Frontrunner train on the morning of the Race that will enable you to reach Library Square on time.
Will there be disabled parking available? All vehicles displaying a disabled person’s license plate or disabled person’s placard, and transporting a disabled person, may be parked at any city parking meter without charge for up to two hours. The plate and placard are available from the Utah Department of Motor Vehicles. In addition, these same vehicles may park for up to two hours in the following restricted zones: freight loading, passenger loading and time limited parking zones. Vehicles may not be parked in areas where official signs or traffic markings prohibit stopping, standing or parking, including areas reserved for emergency use and bus stops.
Are strollers, bikes, and/or pets allowed on the Race course? We welcome strollers on the course. However, due to crowd conditions, bikes, skateboards and pets are not permitted.
