Q: What is the cost to register for the Race?
$35 for adults (13-64) - $25 for Survivors or seniors (65+), and youth (4-12 yrs)  $40 to "Sleep in for the Cure."  Note: You must register to receive a Race t-shirt. Your registration fee helps to cover the cost of operations but personal giving and fundraising is what enables Komen to save lives here locally.

Q: Does the Komen Race for the Cure® require fundraising?
You are not required to fundraise, but we do encourage all participants to fundraise above the entry fee. Just imagine the IMPACT - If every Race participant raised just $100 in addition to their registration fee, we would bring in an additional $1.7 million to support local screening, treatment and educational programs in our community!

Q: Does the money raised stay right here in our community?
Yes! Up to seventy-five percent of the net income from the Race stays right here in our community to fund vital breast health education, screening and treatment programs.

The remaining twenty-five percent supports our national research program, which funds groundbreaking breast cancer research.

For donations on behalf of an individual participant or a team, please include that information with your check.

Q: Is there a deadline for fundraising?    
We gladly accept donations year-round; however, only checks received by May 31 can be included in the individual team totals or qualification for top fundraising prizes.

Q: Is my registration fee tax-deductible?
Because your registration fee includes participation in the Race and a t-shirt, it is not considered tax-deductible. However, any amount that you choose to donate above the entry fee is tax-deductible.
