Where and when can I pick up my packet if I registered online or by mail?

You can pick up your t-shirt and race number on Thursday May 8th or Friday May 9th at the Gateway's Union Pacific Depot at 400 West South Temple, from 10am-6pm. You can also pick them up on race day May 10th from 7am-8am at the same location.

Can I pick up race packets for more than one person?

Yes, but if you are picking up packets for more than a couple of people, we ask that you write down their information (name and if they would like to be recognized as a breast cancer survivor) and hand it to the registration volunteer to facilitate pickup.

Can I register someone besides myself at packet pickup on Thursday and Friday?

Yes, as long as they have completely filled out and signed their entry forms, you can register for other people. We've missed the team entry cutoff, can we still register as a team? You are all welcome to register as individuals, and still participate as a team on race day.

Where are the restrooms?

Port-a-potties will be located along 400 West, north of The Gateway.

What is the course?

Download/print a Race Map (654KB PDF file).

Will there be water?

There will be water offered at approximately the halfway point and at the finish line in the food and beverage area.

What if it is raining?

The event will occur rain or shine.

Will there be awards after the race?

Awards Ceremony will start immediately following the Survivor Parade at the Fountain at 10:00 am. A Tribute to Survivors, and awards for the 5K run will be presented.

Can if run with my dog or with a jogging stroller?

For insurance purposes and the safety of all participants, inline skates and pets are not allowed on the course. Jogging strollers will be required to line up at the rear as a safety measure insuring that the wee ones don't get trampled by the herd of our 10,000 participants. Thank you for your cooperation.

Where can I find race results?

The day of the race results will be posted on a board near the southern edge of the fountain. Participants can access results after the race (by May 14th).

What are back signs and where can I get them?

Back signs are provided for race participants to run "In Memory Of" someone who has died from breast cancer or "In Celebration Of" someone who is a survivor or presently fighting breast cancer. They can be found on tables in the center of the Union Depot Building .

Parking and transportation

You can avoid parking hassles by taking the train. UTA's Trax will come from the University of Utah or the south end of the valley and drop you off at The Gateway (Delta Center Station). For more information call 743-3882. If you must drive, please try to carpool to decrease traffic around The Gateway. The Gateway will be offering free parking (with a free pink parking ticket), and we would advise parking in the summer parking lot. Downtown Salt Lake City also has numerous parking options.
