The Salt Lake City Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is a grant-making organization dedicated to ending breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality of care for all and energizing science to find the cures. As one of a network of more than 120 Affiliates around the world, the Salt Lake City Affiliate contributes to the Komen mission by awarding 75% of all funds raised to local not-for-profit organizations that provide innovative, non-duplicative breast health and breast cancer services directly to the medically underserved, uninsured, or underinsured.  Additionally, the remaining 25% of funds raised is sent to Susan G. Komen for the Cure's national research grants award program.

Any not-for-profit organization that provides breast health and/or breast cancer education, screening, treatment or treatment support services, and located within the service-area, may apply for a grant from the Salt Lake City Affiliate.
